Curated by Kathy Kelly since 2001, the Chicago Jazz Composer’s Collective series has been a consistent opportunity for musicians to workshop and present new material. I will present compositions written in 2024 inspired from the Romanian folk tradition, accompanied by Wes Dziedzic on piano, Hunter Diamond on woodwinds and percussion, and Matt Ulery on bass.
