Pui de Dor
Ana Everling
An album inspired from Romanian tradition, played by Chicago jazz musicians.
A hot bread on the table, a stream of water, the song of a turtle dove. “Pui de Dor” [puj-de-dor] is an exploration of the culture of a beautiful land, Republic of Moldova, and its historic Romanian cultural heritage.
“Pui de Dor” aims to bring to the surface a forgotten longing for one’s origins, and a bit of homesickness for the sacred village, where we all came from.
